Ian is a technical and systems designer who has been making games professionally since the year 2000, and teaching game dev since 2006 at anywhere from community college to masters level. Ian has worked on ten published titles, four training game projects for Fortune 500 corporate clients, and three published books on game design (including the most recent book, Game Balance, which released in Q3 2021). Ian is also one of the four co-founders of Global Game Jam, the largest in-person game creation event in the world.
